About Me
Whether it’s listening to music, going to concerts or performing on stage, music makes me happy. I am passionate about keeping the magic of music alive for the older generation, and I do this by performing songs through the decades that will evoke memories, unite the audience and even get a few residents dancing in their seats!
I first sang at a care home when I was eleven years old and my great-nan was a resident. I initially did it to make my great-nan smile, but I soon realised that it made the other residents smile too, so I came back to perform on a number of occasions. Since then, I have performed solo at charity galas and concerts and sung at various gigs and junior jam sessions with my rock band.
I am currently studying for my A-Levels and enjoy performing at local residential care homes at the weekends and during the holidays. My setlist offers a mix of music from the ‘50s to the present day. You will hear some soul, rock and roll, disco classics and Disney favourites. If there is a personal favourite that a resident would like to hear, ahead-of-time requests can often be catered for.
For maximum enjoyment, I encourage interaction, dancing where possible and lots of clapping and toe-tapping!
My performance is a one-hour set, accompanied by professional backing tracks, and I provide my own PAT-tested equipment.
Fee: from £45
Location: I cover areas of Berkshire and Hampshire.
